MAKE a plan and “go for it” – that’s the advice from Bindaring Sale 2019 spokeswoman Nikki Gogan ahead of this year’s 56th sale.
The Caporn Young sales executive said she knew volunteers were serious when they told her shoppers lined up from 6am for the annual sale.
“Get there early and have a bit of a plan,” Ms Gogan said.

Perth businesswoman parts with hat for Bindaring Sale
The Bindaring Sale for Red Cross raised $230,000 last year and is on Saturday, May 18 from 9am-3pm at Claremont Showground’s Robinson Pavilion.
This year, men will have their own section and exclusive changerooms.
“A bit of feedback over the years had been that when guys accompanied their partners for shopping, they didn’t want to be in the women’s areas,” Bindaring Sale’s Karen Leary said.
“So now we have a dedicated area for men so they can exclusively shop and have their own changerooms,” she said.
The 2019 Bindaring Sale will feature different sections – Op Shop, Emporium, Menswear Department, Boutique, Designer Edit and the Silent Auction.
