Old surf club demolished

Town of Cambridge Mayor Simon Withers was on-site last Friday and said the new building would help City Beach reach its potential.

‘The ugly old building that currently dominates the beach will be replaced by a modern and magnificent new surf club building at beach level, and a new landscaped area with cafes and restaurants will be created overlooking the main beach,’ he said.

‘This development will make City Beach the best beach in Perth.’

The City Beach Development will see the beachfront transformed with the construction of a new surf club building, three commercial restaurant buildings and public amenities.
