OVER 400 students at Mosman Park Primary School will be skipping in to school next week .
Their annual ‘Jump Off Day’ is part of the Heart Foundation’s Jump Rope for Heart program, with children raising funds for research and health projects.
Teacher Dennis Ong said the day provided a fun opportunity to teach students about healthy eating, heart health and being active.
“All day, classes will come down and do some skipping; there will be activities, music and food from our Mossie Bites breakfast club,” he said.
Mr Ong said skipping was a fantastic activity for children to do together or on their own and challenge themselves, while taking time away from screens.
