City of Subiaco has joined forces with the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority to activate the decommissioned hospital while plans for its redevelopment are progressed.

Mayor Penny Taylor said the City was giving visitors every reason to come to Subiaco.

“With redevelopment comes opportunity and the city is embracing this turning point – we know planning for the PMH site is still a work in progress and instead of unused spaces in our city, we want activation,” she said.

“It’s also a way to support our local businesses – this is an excellent parking choice for local workers and employees of our local shops.”

The additional parking will be available until the future of the site is confirmed.
