Peppermint Grove: bath concerns a town planning matter says staff

Jon BassettWestern Suburbs Weekly

STRATA owners’ concerns about their investments’ floors collapsing under 1000kg float meditation baths were not weighty enough to stop changing the designated use of some of their building from office to public entertainment at Peppermint Grove council last month.

It was proposed to install four tanks in a suite at the offices at 10 Johnston Street to operate from 9pm-10.30pm seven days a week.

Owners of the other strata-titled offices were also concerned the baths could cause humidity, create parking congestion, be unhealthy and have after-hours security breaches.
