THIEVES have cleaned out a McNeil Street, Peppermint Grove home, leaving with a haul of at least 70 items from its cellar, a home music studio and an Audi car.

The theft occurred sometime between November 16 and November 19.

“They emptied out the wine cellar when they took as man as 35 wine bottles, including boxes of Cliquot,” Senior Constable Mark Matthews said.

The home’s owners were away during the period when the raid may have occurred.

Equipment from the studio that was taken included an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar and its case, another guitar, amplifier, speakers and distortion and effects pedals.

Other valuables lifted from the house included two Macintosh computers, a laptop computer and an iPhone.

The thieves also took a 36 inch television, wallets, travel bags and mobile telephones.

Constable Matthews said the Audi had still not been recovered.

A full list of the missing property’s value is being compiled.
