The overall and wildcard winners from each State will win an all-expenses paid trip to perform their first international set at a major festival, with locations including Croatia, Portugal, Austria and the US.

Ms Meadmore has been DJing for the last two years and is also a radio presenter.

“I always wanted to (DJ) but was scared or wasn’t sure if I could; unfortunately my mum passed away two years ago – and it made me realise how short life is and to chase my dream,” she said.

“I bought a DJ controller two weeks after she passed and taught myself.”
