READ NOWWith a bit of planning and some help from family and friends who worked at Bunnings, Kylie was able to pull together Carter’s amazing birthday party.
Jessikat Cakes made the $160 Bunnings cake, the banner cost $50 and his outfit $30.
Of course, no Bunnings themed party would be complete without a sausage sizzle.
“Our kids don’t get parties all the time,” Kylie said.
“This is Carter’s first birthday party since his first birthday so when we do parties we like to make sure we match most things to the theme.
“This one took months to get all the merchandise but we pulled the party together in about two weeks.”
Activities at the party included a garden centre where guests could plant their own flowers (complete with adorable little garden gloves).
