Perth pub to offer authentic Irish experience

Laura PondWestern Suburbs Weekly

BOASTING Australia’s largest selection of Irish whiskeys, a Guinness-only cool room and an interior shipped from Ireland, Scarborough’s newest pub will offer an authentic Irish experience to be sure.

The team behind one of Perth’s longest running Irish pubs, Durty Nelly’s, is set to open The Galway Hooker at the Scarborough foreshore in time for summer.

The pub, named after the 19th Century fishermen’s boat used in Galway Bay, was designed and built in Ireland and is being shipped to Perth and reassembled.
