Perth shivers through second-coldest morning of 2019

IF you thought it was cold this morning, you’d be right – with the mercury dipping to just 2.1 degrees at 7.13am this morning.

That made it Perth’s equal second-coldest day for the year, after we also hit 2.1 degrees on May 18.

But the coldest morning for the year so far was the Baltic 1.6 degrees we had on May 19.

There are more cold temperatures on the way, with a minimum of 5 degrees expected tomorrow morning.

That will rise to 10 degrees on Friday morning, before the temperature rises again on Saturday, with the chance of a thunder storm.
