Sun set to shine over the long weekend

TEMPERATURES are set to soar with sunny days forecast throughout the Australia Day long weekend.

There’s zero chance of rain and plenty of sunshine forecast all weekend with Saturday’s weather expected to climb to a maximum of 34 degrees.

By Sunday, the Bureau of Meteorology says Perth can expect a sunny day, getting very hot in the northeastern suburbs.

A high of 35 will come with light winds becoming southeasterly of 15 to 20 km/h during the afternoon then tending southerly during the evening.

Monday will be sunny with a forecast high of 37 degrees, especially for the eastern suburbs.

The maximum will go down to 35 degrees as most of us head back to work on Tuesday.
