Storm warning for Perth

PERTH could be in the path of a storm this afternoon, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting between eight and 20mm of rain later today.

Just a day after our hottest winter day on record, with the mercury hitting 30 degrees yesterday, the Bureau says the weather will turn this afternoon.

There is the chance of a thunderstorm late this afternoon and evening.

The winds will become gusty late this afternoon.

There is also the chance of a late storm tomorrow, with between six and 15mm of rain predicted.
