PERTH people starting to feel a glimmer of hope that summer is on the way may feel a bit let down by this weekend’s weather.
The Bureau of Meteorology has tipped showers and storms over both Saturday and Sunday, proving winter is not quite over yet.
Saturday will see a top of 21C, with a near-100 per cent likelihood of showers, according to the Bureau.
The showers are likely to hit in the afternoon, and a thunderstorm is also possible.
After an overnight low of 12C, Perth people can expect to wake up to more of the same on Sunday.
With a forecast maximum of 20C, Sunday is expected to bring with it morning showers and possibly a thunderstorm.
At this stage it looks likely to clear by Monday, just in time for everyone to return to work.
Tuesday is looking incredible, with a forecast of 26C and sunny, but we won’t talk about that.
On the flip side, it’s probably only a few more weeks until everyone starts to complain about the heat.
