A COLLECTION of more than 400 artworks will be on display at the popular PLC Old Collegians’ Association (OCA) Art Exhibition when it opens later this month.
Now in its eighth year, the exhibition will be held at the Peppermint Grove school from May 26-28 and will showcase paintings, drawings, photographic works, mixed media, sculpture and jewellery from more than 70 established and emerging local artists.
As PLC OCA’s largest fundraising event, the exhibition will feature works by prominent WA artists, including Tess McOnie (2016 Black Swan Prize for Portraiture Finalist), Kim Maple, Corinne Barton, Ben Juniper and James Giddy (Scotch 2013), alongside recent PLC graduates, Alice Ford (2015), Fiz Eustance (2013) and Ellie Burton (2013).
The PLC Miniature Exhibit will also return, with members of the school community invited to express their creativity by painting or drawing works on miniature canvases.
All proceeds from their sale will support OCA initiatives at the school.
