WITH 11 sleeps to go until the Perth Royal Show, 45 students were given a sneak peek into this year’s showbag selection at the Claremont Showground today.
More than 260 showbags will go on sale at this year’s Perth Royal Show so the children had their work cut out for them inspecting up to 1500 individual items.

READ NOWCommerce and Industrial Relations minister Bill Johnston joined Royal Agricultural Society of WA president Paul Carter at Claremont showgrounds this morning to announce that the showbags passed with flying colours.
“It’s very pleasing to see the majority of showbag suppliers have complied with product safety requirements, so parents can be assured the toys and other items are safe,” Mr Johnston said.
“The Perth Royal Show is set to deliver another outstanding week of entertainment and education for all ages, as the city connects with country Western Australia.”
Parkwood Primary School student Jayden Webb had his eyes firmly set on the Pokémon showbag.
Hudson Park PS student Makayla Mills was delighted with her selection of the Paris Hilton and Oreo showbags.
“I can’t wait to use the perfume and the headphones,” she said.
