POLICE found the alleged burglar of a Daglish and a Mosman Park home in a Redcliffe motel February 7.

Detective Sergeant Paul Vojkovich said it would be alleged police located several items stolen from the homes when they raided the room.

Det Sgt Vojovich said the burglar’s targets in the western suburbs were a home Wilsmore Street, Daglish, which its female occupant had left locked before it was raided between 8am and 4pm on February 2 .

“It will be alleged he forced entry into the house through a rear door and once inside, stole a number of items from various rooms,” he said.

In Mosman Park, a locked O’Hallaran Lane home was forcibly entered and burgled between 6am and 3pm on February 5.

A 41-year-old man in the hotel room was charged with two counts each of burglary and stealing.

He was refused bail and remanded in custody to face a total of 16 changes, including those from other alleged burglaries in other suburbs, before reappearing at Perth Magistrates Court on February 19.
