POLICE are hunting for two men involved in a crowbar attack in Scarborough.

An 18-year-old and 22-year-old man were taken to hospital after the senseless assault, which happened in the early hours of February 23.

One of the victims spat in their direction, prompting the men to allegedly stop the car near the intersection of Alga Street and launch an attack on the pair.

The 18-year-old, from Marmion, was punched in the face and the older man from Kinross was hit with a crowbar, suffering a cut that required stitches.

According to police, the suspects then returned to the car and drove away.

They are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage from the area to report it on 9441 6400 or via Crime Stoppers.
