Police searching for suspected predator trying to lure school children in City Beach

POLICE need the public’s help to find a man driving a white van near school children yesterday afternoon.

It is believed police received reports of the incident in City Beach, near the corner of Brompton Road and Bent Street and the Holy Spirit Primary School.

Police are still trying to confirm details of reports and are appealing for any dashcam footage from the area, particularly from motorists who drove along Brompton Road between 4.15pm and 4.45pm yesterday.

They are looking for a white transit van with no markings on the side.

In the meantime, families are warned to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
