The pair took part in creating artwork for the Rottnest Island Authority’s (RIA) ‘Weaving on Wadjemup’ exhibit that is on display at the Salt Store until July 19.

The exhibit’s launch coincided with National Reconciliation week and RIA’s publication Rottnest Island, A Guide to Aboriginal History of Wadjemup.

‘We sat outside in the sun, messing around with different materials and looks,’ Sarah said.

‘I thought it would be hard but it’s really easy when you get into it and it’s very beautiful.’
