Restaurant hit by car, no customers injured

WITNESSES are being sought to a crash between a blue Holden Astra that smashed into an Indian restaurant and a silver Toyota Corolla at the Dalkeith Road Stirling Highway, Nedlands intersection about 7.50pm last Friday.

A police spokeswoman said it was believed the Astra driven by a 25-year-old Dalkeith woman was travelling on Dalkeith Road when it was hit by the Corolla, which may have run a red traffic light, driven by a 71-year-old Mosman Park man.

The Astra subsequently went through the front window of a nearby Indian restaurant but no customers were injured.

The Astra�s driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the Corolla�s driver was uninjured.
