RONALD McDonald House Perth (RMH) will hold the Knot Just A Boat Party next month to raise much needed funds for the not-for-profit organisation.
The party, which will be held on the Astor cruise ship, will be hosted by celebrity cruise director and comedian Peter Rowsthorn.
The ticket for the party includes an overnight stay in a cabin on the Astor, with guests able to use the facilities and enjoy the cruise ship lifestyle.
Rowsthorn said he was looking forward to a great night for a great cause.
“I can’t wait to get involved in what should be a fantastic party on a boat,” he said
“I love the work Ronald McDonald House does for the WA community and I’m happy to support where I can.”
Rowsthorn will be overseeing all activities and entertainment on board from stand-up comedy to cutlery polishing.
He said he encouraged people to book a cabin and join in the festivities.
“Booking a cabin raises money for Ronald McDonald House and will go directly to this fantastic institution which helps regional families from WA through a difficult time,” he said.
RMH chief executive Peter King said the fundraising board was excited to hold the event.
“It’s a first for us and a little different, but should be a lot of fun on board,” he said.
“By supporting this event the general public of WA can help Ronald McDonald House create extraordinary environments for seriously ill children and their families to thrive.”
