Ronald McDonald House Perth’s director of hugs and pats Gus is most popular employee

RONALD McDonald House Perth’s director of hugs and pats is hands down the most popular employee at the Nedlands facility.

Children nearly knock down the administration office’s door wanting to hug, pat and brush Gus the black Labrador, who joined the team just over a year ago.

A lucky bidder at this weekend’s Ronald McDonald House Charities Ball will get to spend 30 minutes with Gus but guests are warned, he does not come cheap.

Money raised at Saturday night’s annual ball will go towards the house that provides a home away from home for sick children and their families, like Zander Chesson (7) from Kojonup and Helen Hamlett (5) from Geraldton.
