“Rosalie Primary School is to be congratulated for its excellent teaching of the important STEM subjects,” she said.

“The judges concluded that student results at the school show the levels of engagement and outcome to be outstanding at the primary school level.

“With forecasts indicating that 75 per cent of the fastest growing jobs in the future will require STEM skills.”

Rosalie Primary School principal Roslyn Kay said the STEM subjects were embedded in the school and in preparing students for future employment opportunities.

“The school and community are exceptionally proud of this achievement,” she said.

“These subjects are embedding in everything we do and are important in preparing these kids for future employment.”
