Mr Driscoll said the RIA wanted to keep prices fair and competitive.
The existing plan expires in June 2014 and the new five-year draft needs to be approved by Tourism Minister Liza Harvey before it is released for comment later this year or early in 2014.
‘The Rottnest Island Authority will invite a wide range of feedback to reflect the wishes of Western Australians and other visitors to Rottnest in finalising the next five year plan,’ Mr Driscoll said.
Several private entities already operate on the island, including Hotel Rottnest, Rottnest Lodge, the Bakery, Subway and the general stores, as well as cleaning and maintenance services.
