DECORATED bras made by Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) staff to raise money for Purple Bra Day are about to hit the catwalk.

Entries in the Breast Dressed Bra Competition will be worn by Intimo models at The High Tea Party that is coming to the Hyatt on August 18 and 19.

RAS staff have already raised $535 for Breast Cancer Care WA (BCCWA) and the not-for-profit will be shaking tins at the high tea.

RAS Education Events coordinator Marc Platten, who also works for The High Tea Party, said it was the perfect opportunity to have the bras on show again and raise more money for BCCWA.

Mr Platten, who came up with the Breast Dressed Bra competition, said the event would include about 60 stalls featuring hair, makeup, jewellery and clothing and guests would be pampered in between enjoying the high tea.

The bras, including the first and second placed bras made by Jack Martin and Dawn Amblard, will also be on display at the Arts and Craft Pavilion at the Claremont Showground during the Perth Royal Show.
