Shakespeare 400 Perth Festival: bard’s new vision at UWA Globe Theatre

Denise S. CahillWestern Suburbs Weekly

BEVIN Creative chief executive Benjamin Bott, who initiated the Shakespeare festival with Big Sky Entertainment, along with marketing and digital manager Glen Panarese and their team, has developed a 3D render of The Globe.

Wearing virtual reality headgear, people will be able to step in to The Globe and get a 360-degree experience of the theatre.

It will be the first time Shakespeare’s The Globe Theatre has been modelled in 3D and presented in a virtual reality space.

“We’ve created a high-quality render with full 360-degree interaction,” Mr Panarese said.
