“Shenton has a motto; more than just marks, learning for life,” he said.

“Although we place importance on academic performance, the school praises excellence across a broad spectrum of areas including sport, art and music.”

Mr Morgan said he was pleased to see that the students were not just acknowledged for outstanding performance, but also getting in and having a go.

“Excellence is an individual thing, and it’s wonderful to see so many students engaging in sport,” he said.
