SHENTON College students and staff raised more than $5000 for charity by taking part in the City to Surf last week

SEVENTY students and 10 staff took part in the fun run to raise money for Uni Camp for Kids, which raises money to send underprivileged kids on a three-week camp.

The college raised enough money to send 20 children on the camp through their fundraising efforts.

Shenton College head of learning and community for Year 9 Gary Green said the students chose to donate to Uni Camp for Kids because they could identify with their age group.
