PERTH Detectives are investigating the theft of three shotguns stolen from Royal Perth Yacht Club.
Senior police confirmed a pair of thieves had taken three of the sawn-off weapons from the club on Australia II Drive, Crawley about 7.30am last Saturday.
The guns were used to fire blanks to mark the starts and finishes of yacht races by club members.
Police believe the pair of thieves entered the club through a sliding door, which had been left open to allow members' access.
