UPDATE Betfair appears to have gone down alongside Ladbrokes and Sportsbet – just over an hour out from the Melbourne Cup.
Sportsbet users have taken to social media to express their frustration as the mobile app went down less than two hours before the Melbourne Cup.
The app follows popular betting agency Ladbrokes app also going down on one of the biggest betting days of the year.

Ladbrokes has come clean about the technical issues, but Sportsbet, which is particularly active on social media, is yet to make an announcement.
But that has not stopped users from expressing their dismay.
What a time for Sportsbet, Ladbroke and Betfair to all crash. Costing them hundreds of thousands of dollars every minute it’s down.
