The Mosman Park-based school ranked first on the list of top 50 schools for academic excellence released by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.

St Hilda’s had 37.46 per cent of its graduating class score 75 or above in their WA Certificate of Education courses, the highest proportion of students at a WA school to do so.

Dalkeith student Katerina Chua was the recipient of the coveted Beazley WACE Medal, achieving the highest score across five courses in Year 12, after it was won by St Hilda’s student Katie Dyer in 2012.

It is the second time the prestigious award has been won by a school back-to-back since it began in 1984, with the feat also achieved by Hale School in 2000 and 2001.
