SUBIACO has appointed Rochelle Lavery as the City’s new chief executive officer.

Mayor Penny Taylor said council was pleased to finalise the four month external recruitment process.

“The City of Subiaco has many challenges and exciting times ahead,” she said.

“Ms Lavery has demonstrated that she has the vision and commitment to lead the organisation through key projects including the Subi East redevelopment and new Local Planning Scheme.”

Ms Lavery said she was excited about the future of Subiaco.

“We have an outstanding workforce at the City of Subiaco that I am very proud to work with,” she said.

Ms Lavery has spent seven months at Subiaco, previously in the role of Director of Community and Development Services, and has worked for over 20 years in local government.
