IAN Thubron is inspired by the sense of “collaboration” between businesses that have thrown support behind new social enterprise Community Pod.

The Titan Digital director and his Subiaco team developed the branding, logo, marketing and website for the business founded by Mark Grogan and his partner Megan Watson.

Community Pod is an online business selling coffee pods and beans, with customers able to donate 10c from every pod and $3 from every 1kg of coffee beans to their chosen charity.

“The value of what we have given in the market is about $25,000 but that aside, we are proud to support such a worthy cause,” Mr Thubron, of Mosman Park, said.

Community Pod was born when Mr Grogan and Ms Watson put their heads together to create a business that helped charities.

“Charities are struggling for residual incomes right now,” Mr Grogan said.

“The average household will donate $170 a year to a charity of their choice.”

The coffee pods are also biodegradable, breaking down within 180 days. Visit www.communitypod.com.au.
