SUBIACO Primary students got to show off their brand new swimming caps at their carnival on Friday.

The school recently took out the award for most primary school participants in the 250m event at Swim Thru Perth (STP), and landed a $250 prize.

STP event co-ordinator Elena Nesci said it was the second award for the school after winning the same category in 2017.

“The prize money was used to purchase silicon faction caps and interschool caps,” she said.

Young swimmers aged eight and up took to the Swan River for the challenge.
