Subiaco road rage attack: man (53) arrested

A 53-year-old man was arrested by Clarkson Police after an alleged road rage attack that occurred on October 6 in Subiaco.

Around 10.50am, the victim was driving along Railway Road near the Roberts Road intersection, when he said he saw the driver of another car using his mobile phone while they were driving.

The victim said he waved his finger at the driver indicating he should not be on his phone.

Police allege the driver cut in front of the victim’s car, stopped and left his car armed with a wooden pole.

According to police he hit the victim’s car several times before driving off along Hay Street.

A 53-year-old Clarkson man will be summonsed to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on March 30 on charges of going armed in public so as to cause terror.
