Subiaco Street Party returns on April 8

THE second annual Subiaco Street Party is on Saturday, April 8.

Sponsored by the Western Suburbs Weekly, the free community event from 3pm-10pm will be presented by See Subiaco and supported by the City of Subiaco.

There will be music, food, entertainment, street bars, rides, live art, fashion and shopping to celebrate Subiaco’s cafe strip culture.

The party will run down Rokeby Road from Barker Street and extend across Hay Street, which will be part of the action from the Colonnade down to Rowland Street, to Roberts Road connecting streets and laneways, including Forrest Walk and Churchill Avenue.

Early highlights of the 2017 program – produced by event organisers UpBeat Events – include a Street Block Party, live art installations, food trucks and a new pop-up open-air bar taking over two streets outside at the Subiaco Hotel.
