DANEECHI Swimwear in Subiaco will officially close its doors on May 31, more than three decades after opening.

Denise and David Price opened at 16 Forrest Street, Subiaco in 1987 selling their own swimwear and gym gear and moved to their current location in 1991.

In the early days, Mrs Price made uniforms for instructors at Lords Recreation Centre, WA Institute of Sport athletes and the Breakers basketball team.

She exclusively revealed to Community News in August last year that she was closing because of decreasing sales figures.

Daneechi Swimwear stock will be reduced by 30-70 per cent from April 3.
