Survey to allow community to name Subiaco’s new Inner City College

COMMUNITY members have the chance to name Subiaco’s new Inner City College.

Members of the public can participate in a survey where they can submit a preference from a range of suggested names or suggest a name for the new school.

The list of names include Inner City College, RJ Hawke College, Subiaco College, Subiaco Secondary College, Hawke College Subiaco and Bob Hawke College.

Construction is already well underway on Subiaco’s $70.6 million Inner City College development.

It will open its doors in 2020 to the first group of 250 Year Seven students, mostly comprised of students from the local area, with 32 places for gifted and talented students from across the state.

The community has until March 8 to take part in the survey.
