Swanbourne: man accused of breaking into cars and targeting Nedlands house

A MAN has been charged after he allegedly broke into several cars in a matter of hours in Swanbourne earlier this month.

He is accused of committing the crimes on vehicles parked on Devon Road between 10pm and 8am overnight from August 9 to August 10.

He is further accused of breaking into a Nedlands home in May.

Investigators have charged a 36-year-old Maylands man with 10 offences including five counts of attempted theft, one count of aggravated burglary, two counts of stealing and two counts of criminal damage.

He is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
