Teen facing charges over alleged 4-day crime spree

A SCARBOROUGH teenager is facing 19 charges over offences allegedly committed within several days.

Police arrested the 17-year-old on August 17 after identifying him from CCTV footage related to an offence.

They described the boy as a high harm or prolific offender.

The charges relate to burglaries and stealing offences committed in Woodlands, Innaloo, Scarborough and Doubleview from August 12 to 16.

They include seven charges of stealing, four stealing from motor vehicles, one burglary with intent and two possession of suspected stolen items.

He has been bailed to appear in Perth Children’s Court on September 27.
