Three teens charged with stealing from employer

Jon BassettWestern Suburbs Weekly

THREE Doubleview and Wembley Down teenagers have been charged with stealing as servants after allegedly stealing electrical goods worth $1920 from their employer, a printer, in Davies Road, Claremont.

“It was during an unknown time frame, but we suspect it was since last November,” Constable Jason Griffiths said.

Wembley police conducted search warrants at the teenagers’ homes last Tuesday.

It will be alleged five of the electrical items, each worth $240, were at the home of a Doubleview man (18), two of the items were at the home of a Wembley Downs man (18), and a Doubleview woman (17) allegedly has one of the stolen items.
