The Mount Hospital patients, who travelled from Albany for the procedure, are sharing the same hospital room.

‘We both got cages ” his cage is a bit longer than mine. It holds vertebras in place,’ Beverley said.

‘I feel a lot better just to be out of pain. No-one knows what the pain’s like.’
