TOWN of Cambridge has a new chief executive officer.
John Giorgi was appointed to the permanent position of chief executive for three years at a special council meeting in May.
Mr Giorgi has worked as acting chief executive for the Town since June 2018.
Mayor Keri Shannon said Mr Giorgi was selected from a strong field of well qualified and experienced candidates.
“The appointment will allow Mr Giorgi to continue to progress the many important projects that have been commenced, in particular the organisational review, and to lead the Town’s streamlined Administration in its provision of efficient and effective service delivery for ratepayers and residents,” Ms Shannon said.
