University Club general manager Gary Ellis said the awards were great recognition for the effort his team put into creating memorable experiences for members.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to receive numerous awards over the years but receiving the (major catering award) is great acknowledgment of the team’s professionalism and commitment to continued improvement and not sitting back on their laurels,” he said.

City Beach’s Hamptons claimed the best Breakfast Restaurant award, while City’s Beach’s Lo Zucchero (Family Dining), Subiaco’s Bistro Felix Wine Bar (Informal Dining Restaurant) and Mosmans Restaurant in Mosman Park (Seafood Restaurant) were acknowledged for their efforts over the last 12 months.
