WA man faces court over child exploitation material

Justin BianchiniWestern Suburbs Weekly

A WEST Australian man charged over child exploitation material after a tip-off from international authorities has appeared in court.

Tobi Mikael Jaarola, 31, of Manjimup, appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday on one count of possessing child exploitation material and another of failing to comply with an order to provide information or assistance to a constable.

It follows Federal police receiving referrals in June from Canadian and US child exploitation centres about a social media user who had uploaded material online.
