A PERTH man has faced an Adelaide court over a fatal truck crash in South Australia last month which killed his 27-year-old son.
Tuan Khanh Nguyen, 58, was charged with death by dangerous driving after the truck he was driving slammed into a tree at Coorabie, about 160 kilometres west of Ceduna, in August.
His 27-year-old son died at the scene while Nguyen was treated for minor injuries at Ceduna Hospital.
Magistrate Mark Semmens on Wednesday continued Nguyen’s bail and excused him from attending a January appearance at Adelaide Magistrates Court.
Nguyen, who will need a Vietnamese translator, made no comment as he left court with his lawyer and family members.
