A WEMBLEY supermarket is looking for public feedback on its upcoming liquor licence application.

Wembley Supa IGA on Cambridge Street will be lodging an application with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for a liquor shop to be situated in the shopping centre.

The proposed store, Wembley Boutique Liquor, will have around 50sq m of browsing and display area, with a range of wine, cider, beer and spirits.

The applicants say the proposed premises will showcase local WA wine, craft beer and cider, provide the opportunity for one-stop shopping, and will provide greater choice and competition for consumers in the area.

Locals can have their say on the proposal by heading to surveymonkey.com/r/wembleyboutiqueliquor.
