A MOTORBIKE and bicycle thief smashed open a security box to get keys into a carpark in Kings Park Road, West Perth about 3.15am last Monday.

“The suspect stole a motorbike and a pushbike by walking each away from the area,” Senior Sergeant Crag Davis said.

Sgt Davis said the thief had smashed the lockbox outside of the carpark to get the key and its fob, before he searched storage rooms.

“At one point he put on gloves and a jumper while attempting to hide his face,” he said.

The thief was described as Caucasian, slim, tall and unshaven.

He was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black T-shirt with white motif on the rear and a black hoodie with a white and black strip on the arms.
