Western suburbs crime wrap: number plates and passports stolen

CRIMES reported to Cottesloe and Wembley police in the week until January 17 included:

Number plates stolen from a car parked at Swanbourne beach at 8am on January 11, and registered to a Harvey Street, Peppermint Grove home, being found by police on another car in Coolbellup two days later.

A laptop taken in a burglary of a Carrington Street, Nedlands home between 2pm and 2.40pm on January 11.

A Microsoft Surface Pro computer and an undisclosed amount of jewellery stolen from a Barker Road, Subiaco home between 1.45pm and 4pm on January 16.

Two laptop computers and car keys taken from a Hawkestone Street, Cottesloe, home between 8am and 2pm on January 14.

Four Australian passports and two laptops taken from a Kathleen Street, Cottesloe home between noon and 1pm on January 10.

All beer taken from fridges at the Western Knight Football Club, Mosman Park, after a break-in between 9pm on January 9 and 3pm the following day.

A man disturbed by residents after he climbed on to the first floor balcony of a Keane Street, Peppermint Grove home about 5.20pm on January 15.
