POLICE have located a cavoodle puppy stolen from a Claremont pet store earlier this week.
Around 3:45pm on Monday, a woman went into the store and while staff were otherwise occupied, picked up the male puppy and left the store.
The pet store released a statement which said the puppy was on a special diet and they had fears for its life if it was not returned.
Police posted a photo and details of the incident on the WA Police Perth District Facebook page and thanks to information from the public, located the puppy at a North Fremantle home last night.
The puppy was in good health and has been returned to the pet store.
Inquiries are continuing, but no charges have been laid at this time.
